The artist has spent the last 25 years in the cave.

An artist in the deserts of Mexico. An artist who doesn’t like to be called an artist, Ra Paulette, who went above the concept of art and left a great legacy with his work.
Ra Paulette is an American artist who brings his art to the cave. Bored of the whims of the bosses who interceded with him and his customers, the artist,
who was bored with art, started his personal and independent project, which he collected years ago. The results of the project, as well as
the process is strong enough to leave their mouths open. Ra Paulette, who spent the last 25 years in a cave, dog-friendly, away from society,
spent his time carving walls. The result is a masterpiece.
When asked if he has an obsession with cave carving, Paulette answers: mı Is a child obsessed with playing?

For the last 10 years, American artist Ra Paulette has been walking alone into New Mexico’s desert to work.
He spends his time carving a sandstone cave that he found, turning it into a wonderful subterranean space full of light.

With no one but his dog for company, Paulette created different designs and styles for every cavern, giving each one very specific qualities and textures.

The purpose of this gigantic artwork is to create an environment that would inspire “spiritual renewal and personal well being.”
It will also serve as a venue for artistic events once it’s finished.

Paulette explained the reason for doing the project by helping people to realize their spiritual self and feel that they are peaceful.

Interestingly, Ra doesn’t see himself as an artist, he sees himself as a passionate portrayal of curiosity, and he says, el Craftsmanship forms
the basis of my way of expressing myself. In order to do it well, to do it well, it takes an emotional and mental power as well as physical force.
“I like to call it ı the dance of digging’. The secret lies in how this old man can do so much, artist says artist Ra Paulette.
